We went for a job up Beechwood towards O'Connor. It was 10 AM last Tuesday.
as we got near the top, a full-grown female deer casually game jogging out of the bush, crossed 20 ft in front of us and disappeared into the brush to head north along the DVP. it was surreal.
also, if you use the DVP, take a peek as you hit Don Mills heading north. on the median is a patch of blue and yellow flowers. living there is a big, brown groundhog who seems completely unfazed by the cars.
another groundhog lives on Don Mills just south of Overlea across from the Shell station.
