Anybody knows what bird this could be? Recorded in Trinity Bellwoods Park on Sunday.

It might not be a mystery to someone who knows their bird songs. I'm still trying to remember from last year. It's a long winter...

Cool, I'm interested to hear what the answers is. I'm sure someone on here will get it. I'm assuming some sort of warbler, right?

EDIT: Could it be a Yellow Warbler? Maybe that's too obvious... I'll have to listen to my bird songs CD when I get home.

It doesn't sound like a typical Yellow warbler to me (but they do vary).

The general pitch suggests warbler to me, but this bird wasn't moving. Not one bit. I was staring at this big tree for a good 20 minutes and couldn't get a view of it. Warblers generally move around a lot, so you can usually see where abouts they are, so I don't know what to think.

There were lots of Goldfinches around, but surely it is not one of them, unless it is a young male learning...

It sounds to me like a Nashville Warbler.

Thanks guys. That would make sense, cause I haven't gotten to the Nashville warbler on my Birdsong CD yet! :-)
