Our trip to Point Pelee Wednesday & Thursday this week was everything we hoped for. The weather was great, the birds were plentiful and the people were nice. The following is our list of positive ID's (very good looks at these birds) - there were definitely more birds others were identifying.
May 5
Baltimore Oriole, Orchard Oriole, Cowbird, White-Crowned Sparrow, Red-eyed Vireo, Barn Swallow, House Wren, Summer Tanager, Ruby-crowned Kinglet, Goldfinch, Great Horned Owl & 2 Owlets, Killdeer, Solitary Sandpiper, Lesser Yellow Legs, Great Blue Heron, Great Egrets, and the usual suspects - Cardinal, Blue Jay, RWBB, Grackle, Canada Goose
Warblers: Yellow, Yellow Rump, Black & White, American Redstart, Golden-winged, Magnolia, Chestnut-sided, Black Throated Green, Black Throated Blue, Blackburnian
May 6

I would highly encourage anyone thinking of going to make the trip. We went on one guided hike, which was great and walked the trails on our own (really with the many other birders!). A very enjoyable experience.
