I have seen lots of Moose in my lifetime. For those of you who want to view Moose, Algonquin Provincial Park is an awsome place. Moose crave sodium. In winter, Highway 60 is salted. In May and June, the salt from Highway 60 gets washed away with the rain and melting snow into the ditches. The Moose visit Highway 60 to drink the salty water. The best time is 5:00am-9:00am and 5:00pm-9:00pm. However, Moose can be viewed earlier or later too. In the summer, Moose get their sodium by eating aquatic vegetation.
