Female Orchard Oriole was sitting low in the shrubbery while our guided tour was gathering.  Not as sharp as I'd like, but a new bird for me.

I wouldn't have known what it was either, but the hike guide was right beside me and pointed it out to the group :)

Guess being on "group tour" is the way to go.  Experienced birders are soooo helpful with ID.  We are really looking forward to Pelee next week.  I have a feeling we will be overwhelmed.  Praying for nice weather!

I believe 60 different birds.  I'm not confident we would have identified everything on our own but between the guided walk we took to the Point and the more experienced birders on the trails, we got positive i.d.'s on what we were seeing.  Thoroughly enjoyed the trip ... wish I had a longer lens :)
