Was watching the Jays game in the garage when I saw wings.Big wings

There is a fish pond next door right  near where the bird is :roll:

You mean there used to be a "fish pond" There won't be any fish for long with that guy hanging around  :lol:
One year my neighbour figured raccoons were eating the fish out of his pond until he woke one morning to find a GBH plucking them out like catching fish in a barrel.
Much cooler than finding a raccoon bobbing for them, but he was still a bit PO'd.

The guys next door have put a screen of some sort  over their pond.

Two years a  a gb Heron cleaned them out.

We're looking at putting one in and we were told to make the edges very steep and tall and the minimum depth of three feet that way the herons can't stand and feed.  Also put in lots of overhanging brush/trees to hide it from the Kingfishers etc.  The screen works against coons and diving birds.
