The closer the better , we were observing these birds building their nest for quite some time . They were coming and going bringing nesting material and doing their thing ,every now and then a good opportunity for a close shot happens.

Beautiful shot! We have them singing in the neighborhood in Scarboro but even with 500mm I cannot get close.... very well done! Cheers Terry
