Lovely shot - looks like a Least Sandpiper to me (yellow legs).

I'd agree with Least.  I suspect it's just the pose that makes it look long-necked.

Thanks! his neck was outstretched he was getting food from the water but he wasn't as rich brown as Clemen's Least Sandpiper

There's some variation in colour, but it also depends on the light.  In midday sun with a blue sky, they'll look a bit greyer.  Least and Semipalmated are both pretty common here in migration and they look very similar.  The Least has a slightly down-turned bill and yellowish legs.
