this guy was found in a field near courtice.there was a female nearby,and he kept coming around to try and woe her.these shots,and many others, were taken over a period of,about 5 hrs.
this one was late afternoon with different lighting

Fabulous Denis...I've only ever seen them at Carden, so its nice to know there are some closer to home

thanks guys.
there,s seems to be an explosion of these this year.just today on my way to port perry,i saw 6 males!,on back roads that i took.
yes they can be tough to expose,beeing a black bird,with white.
