great job!
the flickers have disappeared from the don river area (they were really noisy this spring). good to see that someone still has the fortune of seeing them.

Thanks Jo-Anne, Yogistewart and Denis for the nice comments. I was just fortunate that as soon as I stepped out of the car, this bird perched on a tree in front of me. I thought it was a mourning dove at first. It stayed long enough for me to have all the time I need for the shoot including video (my 1st actually). :)

Thanks Scott. He was very cooperative. Gave me more time to setup my tripod and let me took some video.  :)

My 2 local Flickers have also dissapeared from my backyard.  Why do they suddenly dissapear even while birding in forested areas?
