The only sunny day at the cottage was day one...I managed to get this series of a ruffed grouse hanging out on the side of the road. Hopefully next trip it won't be such crazy weather and I'll get to take out the camera more often! Hope you enjoy C&C welcome ~ Crystal ~

I too thought it was a female guarding her nest; but I didn't want to bug her too much so I took a couple quick shots and left her to her piece of the roadside.
