Hello folks...
Does anyone know of any great blue heron rookeries in Ontario? After having explored the Leslie Spit and seeing cormorants, egrets, and b.c. night herons in trees, all I want in the world is to see GBH's in trees! I've heard of a rookery somewhere near Guelph and another in Mississauga, but I have no idea where these are. This is all to the purpose of taking photographs...
Any information would be highly appreciated...any other tips on where to see good numbers of egrets and other herons would be valuable as well.
I regularly visit the Second Marsh in Oshawa, where GBH's can be found in great numbers...any other spots, folks?
