Beautiful shots of a beautiful bird!  Do you have them resident in Port Perry?  They used to be fairly common, but I haven't seen one in several years.

thanks brian,and colin.
brian. there are probably between 20-30 birds,at any given time in the area. some hunting on lake scugog, but the majority were found in the sewage lagoons. a permit can be purchased at the transfer site( $ 10.00 ),and a code is issued, for acess.there are pie-billed grebes in there also,as a bonus.
