Did anyone see the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) last night?  I stayed up until 4:30 and saw nothing. I will try again tonight.

They are telling people if they want to see them to get out of the city away from "light" pollution..
Its very cool. I just watched the video link that Jo-Anne posted...thanks for sharing :)

That is a really nice video!  

I agree with the getting out of the city lights, but it is pretty hard in Grimsby because you would probably have to go North of Hamilton then to have a greater chance of seeing them.

At least an easier viewable Meteor shower will be happening next week.

Wow I've never seen the green blanket of colour like that before! Whenever I see the northern lights (or at least what I have been told is the northern lights) is in fact the sky lighting up for the blink of an eye multiple times over the course of a few minutes.

Exactly Craig - when I saw them I was up in Muskoka and it was just amazing.

Hoping I'll see more on a trip that I'm going on next week.
