Greetings!
We birded Long Sault conversation area yesterday. A nice selection of birds: two (or more) Black and White Warblers, an Overnbird, and a (maybe) Black Throated Green Warbler. We also saw a Veery on the ground. There were a number of Indigo Buntings, and an Empidonax Flycatcher in the pines.
I suspect the start of Fall migration.
Long Sault is north of the 401 along highway 57 (exit 425 on the 401 I think) to County Road 20, turn right and about a kilometer the entrance is on the left. Paid parking is $1 minimum and $4 maximum and they do check!
Cheers,
Bernie
