Great photos of a beautiful bird. It was seeing a Green Heron and a Northern Flicker while camping a couple of years ago that really piqued my interest in birdwatching. I just
had
to know what I was seeing! Been hooked ever since.

I had a whole tree of Flickers, but flushed them all except this guy who was too occupied with preening to care about my presence.
