The salmon run is in full swing in German Mills Park. I actually went looking for them and while conditions were not great for still photography I shot several minutes of fairly good video with my SX210. The water is a few inches too high so they do not have come completely out of the water when shooting the rapids. The run should continue for several days and if we don't get much rain the stream level will decrease and there will be several good spots to photograph salmon out of the water as they move upstream. Btw, except for a lone bluejay the park was extremely quiet, a few mallards but nothing else flying.
