Walking through Sam Smith Park at dusk this evening, I saw quite a few migrants.
There was a Horned Grebe near the bridge hanging out with some Black Ducks. It was the first one I've seen this fall.
There were lots of small birds flitting around in the bushes. The light was fading and I didn't try too hard to ID them all, but there were the first Tree Sparrows I've seen this fall along with lots of White-throated and White-crowned sparrows.
A Coot was in the harbour, and a very low flying Harrier also passed through.
