I guess I better put out some extra nyjer this weekend. What was it, two or three years ago we had that irruption? I had never seen a Siskin before then. I had a couple dozen of them that winter along with about half a dozen Common Redpolls. And have not seen either since then. So, that could be a good thing to see. But, does that mean we have a sign of possibly a nasty winter coming? I keep hearing bits here and there about such.
