Hi everyone. Today, sighted a total of 12 Red-tailed Hawks on North and South side of QEW: various locations between Mississauga to Niagara Falls and back again. First 9 RTH's, between 9:30-10:30am on way to Casino Niagara. Last 3, between 3-4pm on way home. All looking long and hard at grass below for food!
Also on way to Niagara Falls, sighted approx. 2,000 Starlings just past Grimsby. They were flying around plus lined up along hydro wires and sitting along top of large green street signs above the QEW.
On way home, sighted a Great Blue Heron at Eastbound QEW/Eastport Dr. (Hamilton, at base of Burlington Bridge) heading towards Lake Ontario.
