Large flock of Robins

Spotted a large flock of Robins near Brimley and Huntingwood this morning.  These late migrants seemed to be heading south-west in a hurry!  Cheers Terry

I haven't heard robins around for a while...but in some years, they have been around up here in December -- even with snow on the ground....

I have one robin hanging around for the past few days and there's a flock of cedar waxwings that visits my neighbours mountain ash? (still lots of bright orange berries available) at least once a day. This is in addition to my winter regulars, a pair of cardinals, half a dozen chickadees, a couple of downies and lots of sparrows, and oh yeah, mustn't forget a pack of feral squirrels that shows up every time I refill my feeder!:)

The waxwings and robins just showed up and I'd love to grab my camera and try to get a few shots but it's just too cold. My cherry tree is basically untouched so I'm hoping they'll come here soon. The mountain ash berries are disappearing as I speak!
