Jackrabbit? I can't quite tell but are the ears long enough?

Definitely a Jackrabbit, a daily sight when I was in Calgary. I did not realize they range this far east, most maps have them to about the midwestern states.

Edit : Just did some digging and what we have here is introduced European Hare, they do look very similar to the White-tailed Jackrabbit.

ahhh you know what, I can see the ears now through the branches.....I think they have been out this way for quite some time -- I remember seeing a jackrabbit in a farmer's field in Milton in the mid 80's....I think they and the opposums arrived around the same time.
