My first bird (and only so far) is American Crow, again!

Hope someone else has something more interesting.

Last bird seen in 2010 AND my first bird for 2011 were both Mourning Doves. Hopefully something a little more exciting shows up today. Happy New Year!

Thomas ... Yep, me too.  American Crow x 2 again!  Followed right afterwards by lots of Mallards and a large flock of Canada Geese.

I think the first birds I saw today were Harry and Ron, the Snowy Owls at Mountsberg, I don't remember seeing anything else before then.

Northern Cardinals.  The first birds to arrive at my feeders every day (and the last at night too).

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

Pigeons! omg I hope this is not going to be a reflection on what my year is going to be like.

The pigeons are domestic, and always land on the roof of a house near the drug store I go to...but..wait...then I saw a hawk (go figure, Irene sees another hawk??) anyways I could not tell what kind it was, as it flew over very quickly and I saw a bunch of pigeons and other birds fly out of a tree! Ah well..At least I saw something right ? :)

happy birding
Irene
which reminds me I need to change my signature LOL!
