Can any of you tell me anything about Ravens
personal experience, I mean
as I can google other details

I have a book to start by
a award wining naturalist
Bernd Heinrich

Ravens In winter

and also

Mind of the Raven

I believe he did his work with them
in Maine
a state that I have been to many times

I was reading where they attacked
lambs and it was a very vicious attack
Farmers were so upset

I know that we're starting to see them up here in West Grey....I've always loved their call....and to me, they are one of the symbols of the true north, strong and free.

Hello to those who responded:  :)

Axeman:  I would agree with you there
and yes, guess they are black
and their feather shimmer
with purple, green etc.
and other shades

I dont know where I got
this fascination with them
but the books jumped out at me
when at library

they are so smart
it has been said

bet they could attack humans as well

I have the 2 books to read

v. interesting

Egret :)

think they could go after the food of hawks
as well, it mentioned
the Gyrfalcon, now that is a feisty
bird is it not?
