Wow, 3:50pm ... adult Red-tailed Hawk at NW corner of Lake Aquitaine, perched at tip of pine tree. Beautiful red tail and what a big beauty!
This past week here has been awesome for hawk sightings - Cooper's, Red-tailed (imm. and adult) and Sharp-shinned.
People have been sighting Red-tailed Hawk (imm. Eastern) various locations around the lake, each time eating a squirrel. I'm curious to know whether it's the same hawk or are there 2 or more imm. around?
