That's quite the list ...  too bad the Pintail wasn't there.

I was there this afternoon and did not see the pintail either. Saw the grebe and ruddy duck and all the other waterfowl mentioned and can also add common merganser. There was a female white winged scoter off the southernmost point of HB West. And yes it is very icy out there; west side was worse than east. Also saw 2 tagged trumpeters at Amos Waite Park and an untagged one just north of the white bridge over the Humber. No mockingbird, nuthatch or cardinal though. The sun halo at 4pm was pretty nice as well.

I was there on saturday morning and was fortunate enough to see it with the rest of the mallards at the same bridge.  it was my first time seeing it and it made my day.

I will be back this weekend hoping to see other waterfowls.

I was there today from 10:30 to noon and saw the Pintail going back and forth under the bridge area.  No female just the male.  I left it there and went around looking for other waterfowls and by the time I got back after 1 it was gone.

Very nice action shot.  We saw a Pintail at the bridge a couple of months ago ... it was quite unexpected. It sat on the ice for a long time.

Hi!
I was there today, in and around the park between 9:30 and 11:30. There were far too many bird photographers around! Jeepers! When did taking pictures of weird birds become so popular? Anyhow, no pintail to be seen, but I wonder if anyone else saw the famous duck? But don't lie about it!
All the best

I only encounter 2 other photographers yesterday.  I was there taking pictures myself, it's a hobby just like birdwatching.
