Bahama Birds

A few photos from a recent trip to Coco cay, Bahamas.

Is this a stipe - headed Tanager?

Pelican in a pine tree.

This pelican had talent, he could stand on one foot on the branch!

Ok, so this was NOT a bird, but I did find him while looking for birds. I saw 3 large iguanas sunning themselves in a tree!

Is this the same Mocking bird we have here?

Nice pelican!
The first is bananaquit. There are 2 kinds of mockingbirds there, but I think this one is the same one we have.

The bird in the first pic is a Bananaquit. The Northern Mockingbird isn't so northern as thy're all over the Caribbean.

Thanks, I guess Northern Mockingbird must mean as in Northern hemishpere?

the other Mockingbird there is the Tropical mockingbird, it doesn't have white patches in the wing, much more plain
saw them in Cancun
