It was a warm spring day, birds were few but the walk was splendid. The red wing black birds arrived at col. samuel smith park at the foot of Kipling. Robins were feeding on the ground and resident male kestrel made an apperance. Ducks were far on the lake mostly Goldeneye and scaups, Long tail ducks were very vocal. The small parkets along Lakeshore did not produce anything but Mallards and Mute swans. East humber was definetly the place to be today, 8 Ruddy ducks males and feemales, all 3 species of mergansers, Hoooded were very close to the shore,  Coot and Wigeons were there among Scaups, Redheads, and Buffleheads.
Good birding. Arko
