Today, I had a flock of 33 Common Redpolls at our backyard feeders (Sheppard/Bathurst area). Unlike last time, they didn't have a Hoary Redpoll with them.
There was a pair of female Hairy Woodpeckers squabbling over the suet feeder. I also had two Mourning Doves in our yard. I haven't seen them at my feeders all winter. I'm sure having a Cooper's Hawk patrolling our neighbourhood has kept the doves away.
