Today I went to Colonel Sam Smith Park, while driving in I thought (operative word there "thought") I saw the shrike, I couldn't stop to confirm.
Heard lots of RWBB's and saw a few, lots of Goldfinches and Robins too! oh and a whole slew of European Starlings eating the sumac.
Then....a Hawk..a beautiful large Red-Tailed Hawk entertained me with his beautiful aerodynamics. He sure put me and my camera to the test!

Thanks for the nice compliments, I haven't done BIF shots in a while, so this was a lot of fun!

Hey! That's a tremendous shot! Very well done!
I only see hawks up close when my camera's already packed away and/or my memory cards are full!
