A co-worker of my Moms sent these photos to her of their "guest" who decided to show up unannounced the other morning.
No worries, the bird was OK.
Once "shooed" outside, it sat for a few moments in the sun before it resumed picking of their backyard birds.

All I can say is ... WOW!
Your friend did well on the shots.  :D

If this had happened to me, I would have been screaming so loud that the bird would
have broken another window trying to get out.

Cheers,
Kathy

Meg ... A combination of Holy Crap! and Wow, great photos!  :D

Sorry, RTH ... the bunny isn't real, it's ceramic.  He's checking it out in Photo #3.

Somewhat destructive isn't he (she) ... not only the window , but also the nice ceramic watering can!! But "what an experience".  Is it a Juvie .. since yellow eyes .. and he doesn't know any better yet!?   :D

That's amazing! It's also amazing that neither the bird nor the inhabitants were seriously harmed. I wouldn't want to be the guy attempting to grab a panicked hawk. Those talons and that beak can do some major damage. Thankfully, it ended well. Great photos!

Amazing!
Can't just you imagine the phone conversation with the insurance company? A WHAT broke into your house?

WoW!!!! Crazy Awsome  :D Glad everyone and the RTH were ok after the "visit"; amazing photo's to boot! I love the first one of the glass. You should tell your mom to have her friend send this to windex ... I'd imagine this would be right up their alley!!!
