While driving out in the Sheffield area yesterday I came accross a couple of Horned Larks. I haven't been able to get good shots of these in 2 years.

All I can say is WOW! Are these birds ever seen in the Toronto area and if so where?

great feather detail,exposure,sharpness,and catch light.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I put the female in there for comparison. I couldn't get as close to her so the shot's not too great.
I was pleased to get them. I've had difficulty in the past.

Really nice! I haven't been able to get close enough to them with the lens I got. Still great to watch with the naked eye.

If you consider Oakville to be in the Toronto area, there were some (at least 6) at this location today:
