45 minute walk with 6 White-tailed Deer along Humber

I went for a walk late morning today along a part of the Humber. I literally walked into a group of 6 White-tailed Deer. They showed no concern nor fear of me. Over the 45 minutes I walked with them, I was within 10 ft of some, and at the end within no more than four ft of one. It was an incredible experience that I can only describe as "magical". We probably walked a kilometre together before I parted ways with them. I bet I could have spent all afternoon with them if I wanted. To be with them, I walked like them... not on all fours mind you, but quietly and respectfully.

Very neat! The deer at the university of toronto in mississauga often act like this.

That's one of the things with the outdoors; you just never know what can happen. Something like this is rewarding for sure. Angie and I call our nature walks our yoga.

Nice. What part of the Humber was this? Many of the deer along the East Humber are approachable because people put out food for them.
