Well it is most certainly spring in Louisiana . I regret not bringing my larger lenses but I really don't trust Air Canada all that much . I thought that I had landed in a tropical bird paradise until I realized that all the bird singing were by mocking birds , and they are every where . Lots of butterflies around and I think I saw a Monarch .
Many birds around including an occupied eagles nest right beside I-10 just outside of New Orleans [I wonder how many crashes that has caused] . For some strange reason most of the road kill are hawks & kites , they are perched on the hydro lines staring at the road . My best guess is that they are chasing lizards as they scurry accross the highway .
