Purple Martin Hotel - when to erect?

When should I erect my Purple Martin hotel in the Leamington, Kingsville area?

Any help or tips is greatly appreciated.

As Purple Martins are already being seen in Southern Ontario it would seem that there is no time like the present.

Thanks for the prompt reply! I agree, what with the sparrows already establishing their nesting areas, they should leave the Martin hotel alone...I  hope.
