First Pine Warbler for us this season

Angie and I did some birding around noon today and saw a  Pine Warbler, well, 99% certain this is a Pine Warbler.

Nice, I haven't seen one yet this year, and I can only remember getting looks like this a couple times.

Right place, right time.  He was getting a drink and stayed on that log for a good 3 minutes and less than 10 ft from us.

We also saw a Yellow-rumped Warbler and one other rather drab one with similar markings to this Pine and thought maybe it was a female.  No pics of it though.

Thanks everyone!

Moira.  I've seen Yellow-rumped Warblers at Humber Bay East this past week.  Also along Scarlett Road near Lambton.  And today at Bronte Creek there were Yellow-rumps in the same marsh area as this Pine Warbler.  Everybody was low, bopping around, and on the ground.  Not sure if it was due to the strong winds and snacking on small insects over the pond(s).

No biggie Sue, but Angie was with me when I took this shot.  Angie is not one for photographing.  She's quite content on finding 'em and just watching 'em.

The Yellow-rumped was further in.  I like the background with all the foliage coming in and you can see the yellow reflection in the water.  If only I were 40 ft closer.
