Tree Swallow and Turkey Vulture- Arsenal Lands Mississauga

Today I stayed in my own neighborhood, passed through Marie Curtis Park and saw two BCNH's flying over the creek, a few ruby crowned kinglets (no shots of them they way too fast!!) a brown creeper (still around)
Then the Arsenal Lands were full of life, robins, chickadees, downies, cardinals, Eastern Phoebes!(which I thought was a flycatcher-doh!) and a surprise Turkey Vulture, and approximately 5-6 Tree Swallows

Nice Irene!  The Tree Swallows are so fun to watch.  Ever go to Mountsberg and visit Swallowville?  Probably 30 bird houses and all full of Tree Swallows.

We saw a lone Turkey Vulture soaring over Bronte Creek this afternoon.

Thanks Rob I didn't know they had that there, I was at Mountsberg once for a shoot with the Birds of Prey and it was beautiful
but I didn't explore the trails. mmm maybe something to consider for a day out

I think it's worth checking out, they zip all around you, like the little show offs they are.  It's on the other side of the tracks is all I can say on where it is.  I forget the trail names.  But anybody working there can tell you where it is.  It's right along one of the main trails.

Apparently the Osprey have returned as well.  We're planning on getting out there soon to see them too.
