Its been a while so I thought I'd add my list to the increasing reports rom around the province.
At Long Sault:
-3 red shouldered hawks
-brown thrasher
-n. goshawk
-e. bluebird
-1m 1f pileated woodpecker
-2m 2f wood duck
-1m 1f hooded merganser
I've spotted a male harrier at W. Side Marsh on two occasions and a merlin as well.
Second marsh:
-11 little gulls (this morning)
-dozens of bonaparte's
-2- second yr. glaucous gulls
-3 yellow, 1 palm, 6 yellow-rumped warblers
-white winged scoter
-brown thrasher
-ruddy ducks (12 or so)
-N. pintail
-blue and green winged teal
-dozens of ring billed ducks
-2 common terns
Darlington PP (this morning)
-2m northern parulas (awesome close-ups)
-1 m palm warbler(another great close up)
-1 f E. towhee
At Darlington Pond
--1 E. meadowlark
-1 raven
Whitby Harbour
-2m af harlequin duck
-4 second year iceland gulls
Thickson Woods
-ovenbird, 2m 2f btg warblers, 2m 2f pine warblers, 2 palm warblers,1 pine
-1f red-bellied woodpecker
-1m scarlet tanager- I believe I may have been the first to spot this wonderful chap on Wednesday
-more or less 10m 15f purple finch- easily the most I've ever seen
-1 f coopers hawk
-2 blue-headed viroes
