Hi everyone.  I was walking around Maplewood Park this afternoon between 12:45-1:45pm.  Sighted the following:

Cardinal x 1 (male)
Chickadee x 1
Chipping Sparrow x 1

Cooper's Hawk - female sitting in nest (SE corner), got up and shifted around a couple of times, trying to get comfortable.

Crow x 1
Grackles x 8

Red-breasted Nuthatch x 1 (female).  I could hear loud hammering but wasn't sighting the bird.  All of a sudden, the female pops out of a hole in a dead tree trunk then goes back inside, continuing to hammer away.

Other sightings:  Cabbage White butterfly, squirrels and lots of Trillium flowers.

Maplewood Park:  East side of Glen Erin Dr., just North of Aquitaine Ave.
