Denis,

This is the first time I have ever seen a weasel, I don't know how you do it but these shots are fantastic. Always enjoy your photos. Superb work.!!!!!

I saw one at Cranberry Marsh, last Monday. It grabbed a vole, ran down the road abit and dashed off. A few moments later it came running back and caught another. It returned to the same area it had come from. Im guessing it probably had young stashed someplace. I too had never seen one before. Id have figured they were more the size of a Ferrot, but tip to end of tail only 9inches or so. Small but mighty little thing!

cute but they mean business.they,ll take down a rabbit,if they can.
frank. seen one at thickson woods last year stroll by me with a vole, and later he was dragging a starling, right by me again, going to the same area as well.probably babies.
if they were the size of dogs,we,d be in big trouble! LOL

Oh I know Denis, same as the mink, or even the red squirrels, which I've recently learned will kill birds trapped in the nets at banding stations!

That is quite possibly the cutest little creature I've ever seen! I'd love to see one in person one day. Great shots!
