RFI - Insect I.D.

This bug hit me in the head and stuck in my hair. I was quite surprised when I got a look at it. I only had a chance for 2 quick pictures and it flew away. Looks like a martian (lol). Does anyone know what it is? Thank you!

Hi Moira,
That's an Eastern Eyed Click Beetle (Alaus oculatus). Nice find! Haven't seen one in years.
