Very quiet in Queens park this morning. Nevertheless I found two new warbler species: Black-throated Green and Yellow. There very also a few Yellow-rumped and Palm.

I also met another birder (first time) who told me a pair of Red-tailed hawks are nesting on the Ontario Parliament building. I will check it out tonight.

Indeed, a pair of Red-tailed hawks were seen on a ledge with some rubble (SW corner of the building) just before sunset today. Probably the same ones I saw hunting Pigeons in Queens park the other day.

these guys made the news at noon today on CTV.  Nice nesting site.  Going to try and get there later in the week next week and see what I can see.
