I know its not as exciting as all the baby hawks but..it is my first Great Blue Heron of the season! woohoo
I was thrilled to see this guy when I was checking on the Grebes this morning (and both Grebes are sitting on nests!keep your fingers crossed for baby Grebes)

Nice one of your first GBH of the season, and definately lets cross our fingers for the Grebes.

Great shot Irene - I really like the fan of feathers at the bottom of his neck.  I've never noticed that before.
