I had a great view of a Northern Mockingbird downtown yesterday at the southeast corner of Lippincott Street and College Street West.  Lippincott Street is one street east of Bathurst.  The bird flew across Lippincott from the west side of the street and then landed in a stand of trees close to the corner (school property).  Also a House Finch was singing loud and proud from the same trees.  It flew when the Mocker landed.  Petty amazing considering all the hustle and bustle in the area, especially yesterday with the Italian Festival going on.

We have a Mockingbird that hangs around not far from our house, at the corner of Scarlett and St. Clair. We hadn't seen him yet this year and were getting worried he wouldn't return, BUT, just Monday I saw him land in his usual area, was so happy to see him!!  I think this is his 3rd year, if it's the same one.

I was gassing up my car at the station on the N.E. corner of the intersection of Wilson and Dufferin this morning at roughly 5:00 a.m. and heard the unmistakeable singing of a Mockingbird.  This is the fourth time I've heard it at that location and time of day.

A nice way to start the day...or in my case, to end a midnight shift at work.

I saw one near the entrance to the spit onthe weekend, on the satellite dishes on the NW corner Leslie ad Unwin.  This guy was doing cardinal, killdeer, phoebe, and other calls.

Marlee and Eglinton, just yesterday sitting atop a chimney next to my brother's house. What a glorious medley of songs!

I've had mockers for several years now on Adrian Avenue, near Symington and Dupont. Some overwinter. I've been hearing them a lot the last few days and saw a noisy and active pair yesterday.
