For the past three weeks, when its sunny, one such bird comes almost every afternoon to my lounge front window. He stands on the ledge between window panes staring inside and pecking at the glass. Anyone approaching the window slowly on the inside does not appear to scare him away.
I presume that it is his reflected image in the glass which attracts him.
