just wondering if anyone's seen the usual hummers that feed off of Hall's Rd.
i was thinking of going to Whitby to see them, if they were there.

Not yet :)  The jewelweed isn't that high yet.  I checked on Saturday.

i went to the Brickworks today. There's a jewelweed patch that usually grows and attracts 1-2 hummers. i'm guessing that we're 1 week away, max, from jewelweed. starting to see some orange.

best place to reliably see a hummer, for me, is the Riverwood Conservancy.  he parks himself on a dead tree for 10-15 seconds at a time, then flies far away. comes back every 5-15 minutes. also caught quick glimpses of a hummer at Bluffers Park, but i wouldn't go there with the goal of seeing a hummer.

I saw the Bluffer's one too but "MOOOOMMMMYYY, LOOOOOKKKKK!" usually is enough to scare them off. :)
