Yes, BoboBird.  I agree completely we all need some kind of luck.  I find that we may get a better chance with less peple around in the park.

just a warning: i was down at Bluffers Park today and they're doing some repairs to the bridges and to the back path. it may negatively affect some of the birds you'll see (like the herons).

saying that, i did get some ridiculous looks at the kingfisher (was 10 ft from it and watched it eat a fish), saw a hummingbird and saw one juvenile great blue heron

Thanks Richard, for the info.  Nice to hear that you had such a wonderful time with the kingfisher.  They are loud and they are active.  I like them.

Very nice selection.  I did enjoy my visit a few weekends ago now, but didn`t get this variety.  The hub of activity seemed to be by the blocked off pathway.  You were fortunate with the Kingfisher as well.  I`ll have to go back!
