I guess with all the rain and dreary skies, this guy put on a shower cap.  And at first glance of him in my yard today, I thought I had a breeding male Bobolink.

Our desktop is on the blink, so trying all of this from a lap top.  I don't think I care much for the lap top and my photos.  Thanks for looking though.

A birth certificate shows we were born.  A death certificate shows we died.  Pictures show we live.

very unusual Rob... I would guess.

I haven't really paid much attention to these odd birds over the years, but it seems to me there are more of these odd fellows around this year or is it just me?

I saw a white robin in late Aug
Someone saw a white junco ( on this site, a few days ago)
and now you have a blackbird.....what is next a white Cardinal    :?:

Ya, he was interesting for sure.  I looked for him today but I think he moved on in the night with some others.  Today it was Red-wing city!  Also saw a Brown-headed Cowbird in the area...  and yes, his head was brown.

I did have a white tailed Grackle for a while through the summer.  And another with no tail who is still around.  I wonder how he'll do for migration?

Haven't really noticed this kind of oddity in a bird before, not that I can recall.

But look at his leg, it's pink!  At least the top half is, something odd as well.

When I get my desktop back, and my Canon program, I will look at the other pics of him and some other cool things I saw this week to share.
