The girl at the LCBO keeps asking if I'm a Licensee.......

As far as the Goldfinches.......one or two show up here and there.

I fear that something has really happened as this is quite out of the ordinary.

Ang and I did Aquataine (is that the smaller one) and Wabukayne (with the little water park and skate board area?) a while back.  We enjoyed the smaller one more so with some nice Heron sightings.  Of course this was in much nicer weather.

Hi Rob - reverse those.  Wabukayne is the smaller one (more sheltered and scenic) and Aquitaine has the water park plus a basketball court, soccer field, etc.  Great bird sightings here though!  

Never heard of Maplewood.

Maplewood is just a few minutes walk North of Aquitaine.  Great location - this year and last, sighted Cooper's Hawk babies here.  Yesterday, sighted a Sharpie here.  

This afternoon at Aquitaine, an imm. Red-tailed Hawk circling above the lake and upsetting local pigeons.
