No mater what I did I couldn't keep this squirrel off this feeder, he had an answer for everything I tried, but now I think I have him beat. First I tried hanging it with fishing line, I thought he would never be able to climb down that, I was right, but he was smart and chewed of the line, the feeder fell to the ground, Easy Pickings. Now I have it hung with very thin wird rope, so far he hasn't figured that out, but it's not from lack of trying, He spends about an hour off and on every day trying to get on

just as ours are, they are truly amazing at getting a snack , iv seen them jump from our plum tree approx 6 feet onto the 2-3 inch wide unstable stand to get at feed.  The sunflower seeds drove them wild.

I try to feed them the end of my 12 grain bread and flax seed bread whole slices .... cookies, peanuts ... but they still love a challenge.

Birding takes my mind off stuff and it adds good life to a tuff life. It also helps me forget about my spine pain and stress.  Laugh, eat, be merry.  Anybody with extra $ may send me some as It will permit me to travel.

You're right Raven, they will stop at nothing to get on the feeder
